PTE Academic vs PTE Academic UKVI

When PTE is the better pick

You want fast results and are comfortable with AI-scored speaking
Australia dominates the shortlist (admissions and later skilled grids often list PTE)
UK is possible and you will book the UKVI variant if needed
You already practise integrated, computer-lab style tasks

Is PTE accepted in the USA?

Increasingly, not as universally as TOEFL or IELTS. Confirm each programme. US-heavy shortlists usually default to TOEFL.

Is PTE easier than IELTS?

No reliable answer. Different format, different skills. Pick the certificate your offer and visa both accept.

Can I use PTE for a UK Student visa?

Only if you sit PTE Academic UKVI (or another approved SELT). Generic PTE Academic is an admissions tool.
