Who this page is for
Indian test-takers who have already chosen IELTS Academic and now need a plan, not a comparison.
Overview
Task 2 is two-thirds of the Writing band. You need a position, relevant examples, and paragraphing — not a memorised essay about 'technology'. 250 words, ~40 minutes. Opinion, discussion, problem-solution, two-part, advantages/disadvantages are the types that actually appear.
What actually matters
- Official mocks stay with the test owner.
- StudyWhere does not auto-mark every URL; WhatsApp is the feedback loop.
- Book the named variant first, then prep.
